Pensacola Beach

Pensacola Beach

Ah, Pensacola Beach, Florida. The place where thousands of people are lucky enough to call home, and millions more dream of living there. And why wouldn’t they? Of all the places in the USA to call home in my later years, I chose the Portofino in Pensacola Beach. Known for its pearl white beaches and clear “Emerald Coast” water, Pensacola Beach is simply breathtaking in appearance, with a friendly community as well.

The beaches in Pensacola are unlike any other, with sand is so white and soft that comparisons run from salt to sugar-like, and the water is crystal clear. There is a reason that Pensacola Beach is rated as one of the top beach locations in the country, year after year. Whether you’re looking to take a dip in the Gulf of Mexico or the Santa Rosa Sound, you won’t be disappointed.

One thing that sets Pensacola Beach apart from other beach towns is its commitment to preserving the natural beauty of the area. No new construction will be permitted, which means that the supply of homes and condos will always be limited. Currently, no new construction of any kind is permitted in Pensacola Beach. With a strong demand for property in the area, this will likely lead to higher prices going forward.

But it is not just the beaches that make Pensacola Beach so special. The area has a thriving restaurant scene, with options ranging from casual beachfront eateries to upscale dining experiences. Whether you’re in the mood for fresh seafood or a juicy burger, you’re sure to find something to satisfy your cravings. Quality live music is customary at many locations,

And it’s not just tourists who are flocking to Pensacola Beach. I call this the “Hotel Pensacola”, after the Eagles 1980 song. People flock in, but few want to leave. Many more people are choosing to make it their full-time home, rather than just a vacation rental. From young families to retirees, there’s something for everyone in this idyllic beach town.

If you’re looking to explore all that Pensacola Beach has to offer, there’s no shortage of things to do. Take a stroll along the boardwalk, go for a bike ride, parasail, rent a jet ski, or even try your hand at paddleboarding. And if you’re feeling adventurous, head over to Fort Pickens to explore the historic military fort and take in some stunning views of the Gulf, and glorious sunsets.

For those looking for a more luxurious experience, The Portofino Island Resort offers upscale accommodations and amenities. With its own private beach, multiple pools, and a spa, you might never want to leave. There is no need for me to hype the Portofino, since I chose to live there myself.

In conclusion, Pensacola Beach, Florida is a true gem on the Gulf Coast. With its pristine beaches, commitment to preservation, and thriving community, it’s no wonder that so many people are drawn to this area. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, be sure to take some time to soak up all that Pensacola Beach has to offer.
